Major Ice Cream Recall Impacts 17 States

Straus Family Creamery has voluntarily recalled several ice cream flavors over concerns about possible metal fragments.

The recall, announced by the FDA on May 15, affects:
– Vanilla Bean (pint)
– Strawberry (pint & quart)
– Cookie Dough (pint)
– Dutch Chocolate (quart)
– Mint Chip (pint)

Products were sold in 17 states starting May 4, with β€œBest By” dates of Dec. 24–30, 2026. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers are urged to discard the products and not return them to stores.
