Dean DelleChiaie, a 35-year-old Federal Aviation Administration employee from Nashua, New Hampshire, was charged with making interstate threats against President Donald Trump.
Authorities say DelleChiaie searched “I am going to kill Donald John Trump” on his government work computer and sent a threatening email to the White House on April 21, stating he would “neutralize/kill” the president.
He was arrested on May 1 and admitted to owning firearms.
He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The case comes days after another alleged assassination attempt on Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
