This story from CNN’s Anderson Cooper is pretty hard to believe.
Cooper interviewed a Facebook executive last night and was all upset with a “manipulated video” of Nancy Pelosi. He grilled Monika Bickert, Facebook VP for Product Policy and Counterterrorism as to why Facebook wasn’t removing the video.
Cooper lays into Bickert, seemingly lacking all self-awareness about who he works for and their track record. “If you can’t do it well, shouldn’t you just get out of the news business?” Cooper asked her.
Wow, the irony, coming from CNN.
Of course, Bickert informed him that Facebook isn’t actually in the news business, they’re in the social media business.
And if this is the standard CNN wants them to apply, they’d have to eliminate a lot of CNN content.
CNN’s S.E. Cupp still has tweets up claiming President Donald Trump tweeted out a “doctored” video of Pelosi when that has been debunked.
When will she be taking down those tweets, Anderson? When will you admit reports about Trump spreading a doctored video were themselves false?
Not to mention the countless other false stories CNN has put out there, from the doctored video and the Covington kids to most of their Russia coverage over the past two plus years. They’re even responsible for making Michael Avenatti a “thing,” giving him credence to allow him to scam more people.
When are they going to remove all their false content and shouldn’t they just get out if they can’t do it well?
