Royal author Christopher Andersen claims Princess Kate has stopped trying to reconcile Prince William and Prince Harry after the Duke of Sussex’s remarks about King Charles’ cancer diagnosis became the final straw.

In a 2025 BBC interview, Harry said he wanted reconciliation because “I don’t know how long my father has,” a comment Andersen says deeply hurt both Kate and William, who was “apoplectic.”

Despite previously acting as a go-between and maintaining a close bond with Harry, Kate told William she was “done” with him, with no reconciliation currently on the horizon.
