Dramatic footage from Delaney Hall, a privately operated Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, shows protesters clashing with federal agents this week as demonstrators attempted to blockade the facility and establish an “autonomous zone.”
Far-left activists — including militants carrying Antifa flags — have gathered at the site, citing unverified claims that approximately 300 detainees began a hunger strike on May 22 over alleged poor conditions.
Protesters blocked vehicle access, searched cars entering and leaving the area, shoved federal agents, and threw projectiles, leading to multiple physical confrontations.

Videos captured by on-the-ground reporters show crowds surrounding and pushing ICE agents in tactical gear, halting government vehicles, and refusing to clear paths.
Agents responded by shoving protesters back, dragging some away from barricades, and deploying less-than-lethal crowd control munitions.
Several arrests were made on Tuesday as armored vehicles maintained presence at the facility.
