Georgia Rep. Doug Collins is the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee and a staunch defender of President Trump.

As incumbent Sen. Johnny Isakson retires at the end of the year due to health issues, Sean Hannity said Collins is “the single best choice to fill that Senate seat.” Hannity called the 53-year-old a “rock star.”

“The top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee on Sunday called for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff to testify before the panel in its impeachment hearing,” CNN reported.

Collins said, “First and foremost, the first person that needs to testify is Adam Schiff. Adam Schiff is the author of this report.” If Schiff “chooses not to testify, then I really question his veracity and what he’s putting in his report,” Collins added.
