Folks on the left are currently melting down over President Donald Trump’s decision to declassify documents related to the spying done on the Trump team during the 2016 election. Trump gave Attorney General William Barr discretion to declassify and ordered the State Department, the FBI, the CIA and other agencies to cooperate with Barr’s requests.

Rep. Adam Schiff sounded clearly nervous when he tweeted on Thursday, attacking the decision.

Now, of course, that doesn’t make a lot of sense.

It’s very American to be transparent, which is what Trump/Barr are being.

How is being transparent a “cover-up?” And how can being transparent “weaponize law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies?” Unless you did something wrong that you’re scared of being discovered?

Indeed, it’s projection, since it was the Democrats who “weaponized law enforcement” and media with the dossier and other information to go after President Donald Trump.

And it’s interesting how Schiff’s position on the matter has changed since two years ago, Schiff called on then-President Barack Obama to declassify some of the same information.

So why did he think that they should declassify then but not now?

Why was it right then, but a “cover-up” now?

Of course, then he thought the information that would come out, like the dossier, would hurt Trump. Now, he knows all the information would come out and show all the machinations behind the scene.
