Breaking: Democrats Trying To Stop Trump With Article II Of Constitution

via Trump White House Archived

Democrats have ditched their impeachment obsession for a new tactic: flooding courts with Article II lawsuits to block President Donald Trump’s second term agenda. Over 400 legal challenges target his executive orders, like cutting federal waste and deporting illegal immigrants, based on claims he’s overstepping his constitutional authority. Article II outlines the president’s powers and their limits, but Dems argue Trump’s moves—like issuing over 200 orders—cross the line.

White House Pushback

The White House isn’t fazed. Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson calls this “Trump Derangement Syndrome 2.0,” insisting his policies reflect the 2024 voter mandate. She notes the Supreme Court often upholds Trump’s actions despite “activist judge” rulings, ensuring his agenda moves forward.

Impeachment Flops of the Past

Trump’s first term saw two failed impeachments. In 2019, Dems accused him of abusing power over a Ukraine call probing the Bidens’ Burisma ties. The House impeached, but the Senate acquitted. In 2021, after January 6, they charged him with inciting an insurrection. Again, the Senate cleared him. Earlier threats from reps like Al Green and Steve Cohen over Comey’s firing went nowhere.

Legal Battles After Office

Post-presidency, Trump faced a barrage of cases. New York convicted him on 34 counts for a Stormy Daniels payout (discharged after his 2024 win), Georgia’s RICO case stalled after DA Fani Willis was removed, and Jack Smith dropped federal charges on Mar-a-Lago docs and election plots. Civil suits from AG Letitia James and E. Jean Carroll added pressure. Trump called it “lawless” interference on Truth Social after his victory.

Current Article II Showdown

Now, Trump’s National Guard deployment to Portland on September 30 to stop “Antifa anarchy” sparked a legal firestorm. Citing U.S. Code 12-406, the White House justified it against battered cops and vandalized ICE facilities. Oregon sued, and Judge Karin Immergut blocked 200 Guard troops, later barring all out-of-state units, ruling Trump overreached. The Ninth Circuit lifted the Oregon ban, but the broader hold remains. The White House calls it judicial overreach.

Conservative Take

From a conservative view, this is desperate Dem sour grapes. They couldn’t impeach or lawfare him out, so they’re twisting Article II to stall MAGA. With SCOTUS support and public backing, Trump’s prevailing. The real threat? Activist judges prioritizing politics over law.
