Americans Mercilessly Mock Beto After His Most Cringeworthy Stunt Yet

WATCH: Beto O’Rourke thinks it was a mistake to be on the cover of Vanity Fair

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s most recent campaign stunt utterly failed, putting him on the receiving end of a massive wave of criticism.

O’Rourke undoubtedly wants to be known as the little guy. Another citizen, unlike his big-name Democratic competition, that brings people together and bridges divides. He first came on the political scene carefully answering a question about the controversial kneeling by NFL players during the playing of the National Anthem.

His answer went viral and he sky-rocketed to prominence. His quick rise to fame even spurred a presidential campaign, but his surge has seemingly stopped.

Reaching out to his supporters once more, the candidate live-streamed himself going out and doing something normal—something relateable—like getting a haircut.

BizPac Review reports the haircut comes after O’Rourke apologized for his “white male privilege”:

A day after Democrat presidential candidate Robert ‘Beto’ O’Rourke begged far-left America for forgiveness for his alleged “white male privilege,” the gaffe-prone 2020 contender live-streamed himself receiving a haircut at a Spanish barbershop in El Paso, Texas.

Critics called it nothing short of a disaster and a hard-reach to show he is learning and adapting on the campaign trail.
