Minnesota Governor Tim Walz garnered attention for appearing to take a jab at his own running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, during a speech delivered in Pennsylvania.
Walz said that the nation “can’t afford another four years.” Unless he’s living in a time machine, the rest of America is barely surviving the Biden-Harris administration.
His comments drew attention from conservative commentators, who mocked him for inadvertently supporting Trump.
Despite this, Walz attempted to rally the crowd by emphasizing the significance of Harris potentially becoming the first female president, urging supporters to push her through the “glass ceiling.”
“We can’t afford… we can’t afford four more years of this!” he declared to a crowd.
Walz ostensibly meant his comments in regard to increasing political violence and mass shootings.
“Look, Kamala Harris made it clear these guys want to instill fear. They want to tell you that [you should] just get over it, it’s a fact of life. This is the way it is.”
“In a stunning move, Tim Walz makes the case for Trump,” Benny Johnson wrote. “We agree Timmy!” added @DogRightGirl.
