A recent Fox News poll indicates that former President Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris by 1 percentage point in their potential 2024 matchup, with Trump at 50% and Harris at 49%.
This marks a slight shift from a previous poll where Harris was trailing by a similar margin.
The survey included 1,105 registered voters and revealed that while 94% of Democrats support Harris, 93% of Republicans back Trump, with Trump having an 8-point lead among Independents.
The demographics show Trump has strong support among men, white evangelicals, and rural voters, while Harris appeals more to women, Black voters, and college graduates.
Despite Pence Walz’s military background, Trump holds a significant advantage among military veterans.
A separate Daily Mail poll also shows Trump with a narrow national lead over Harris, highlighting the competitive nature of the upcoming election.
“The latest Daily Mail survey shows Trump still edging out Harris nationally by two percentage points, garnering 43 percent support to Harris’s 41 percent support. However, that two-point gap is outside the ± 3.1 percent margin of error, setting up what the Daily Mail describes as a ‘nail-biter of an election in November,’” one report noted.
