BREAKING: Judge Dismisses Case Against Trump Electors

via YouTube

The Clark County judge dismissed charges against six Nevada Republicans accused of submitting invalid electoral votes for Trump in the 2020 election, citing jurisdictional issues with the trial location.

Judge Holthus sided with the defense, indicating the case should be heard in Carson City or Douglas County.

“You have literally, in my opinion, a crime that has occurred in another jurisdiction,” Judge Holthus said. The issue belongs “so appropriately up north and so appropriately not here.”

The decision was pivotal as a more Democratic-leaning jury in Clark County might not have been impartial.

The defense argued against the charges, claiming misalignment with the accused actions.

“The judge got it wrong,” Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford said.

Nevada’s role in the 2020 election drama was highlighted, with Trump’s campaign challenging mail-in voting integrity, leading to legal battles in battleground states like Nevada.

The statute of limitations has expired, ending the case, and key figures involved in the trial faced calls for resignation.
