Legendary Rocker Mick Jones Announces He’s Living With Devastating Disease

Mick Jones, guitarist and founding member of the iconic rock band Foreigner, revealed he has been privately battling Parkinson’s disease for several years.

The announcement explains his absence from recent live performances.

While acknowledging the daily difficulties of Parkinson’s, Jones expressed gratitude for his music career and reassured fans he remains actively involved with Foreigner.

Known for hits like “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Cold as Ice,” Jones was a primary songwriter and driving force behind Foreigner’s distinctive sound blending rock, pop and blues.

Both a talented guitarist and producer, his songwriting collaborations with Lou Gramm produced many of their most memorable hits.

Jones’ openness about his condition sparked support, with his contributions to rock music through Foreigner remaining significant. His legacy as a musician and fighter continues to inspire.
