Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida shared a video on social media showing damaged vehicles at an FBI office in Valparaiso, asking the bureau if everyone was safe.
Gaetz expressed concern and asked for a response from the FBI, but it was unclear if they had contacted him.
“Hey @fbi – our staff has been trying to get in contact with you. No response,” Gaetz wrote on X. “The scene outside your Valparaiso office in my district is……alarming.”

Some responses to Gaetz’s post included sarcasm about the FBI’s actions regarding the Capitol riot and trolling the bureau for targeting conservatives and Christians.
Valparaiso is situated near popular tourist destinations in the Florida panhandle.
