Trump Hilariously Calls Out ‘Liberal’ Travis Kelce

via 60 Minutes

Everyone knows NFL superstar and Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce accepted a spokesperson deal in 2023 with the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer to insist everyone continues to receive the controversial COVID-19 vaccine.

Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift has been in the national spotlight. For her part, Swift was videotaped while crying about Republicans and managed to bake cookies as part of her endorsement of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020.

It’s fair to say the pair is “woke” and heavily influential among young Americans. This apparently caught the attention of former President Donald Trump, who says he “likes” Kelce.

“I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” Trump said referring to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,’” Trump adviser Jason Miller said.

Trump explained that he signed the Music Modernization Act, which significantly benefited Swift, and suggested that she should remain loyal to him. Trump criticized President Joe Biden for not deserving Taylor Swift’s endorsement.

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Trump pollster John McLaughlin said, “Since Biden is so weak, they need others to shore up his credibility. Won’t matter [since] his disapproval is driving the race. Voters aren’t fools.”

“Celeb endorsements of Biden are like donating to Nikki Haley. They are a means of virtue signaling. It’s like wearing a medical mask in public after Covid.” he said.

“Celebrities can endorse Biden, but it doesn’t lower inflation, stop wars, fix the border or lower crime. Biden’s job approval still sucks. So Trump is still winning and will win.”

John Mark Hansen, a political science professor at the University of Chicago, said, “The evidence indicates that endorsements have no discernible effect.”

“The only story you could tell about Taylor Swift is that it might sway a few younger voters who don’t have established partisan leanings yet but I wouldn’t want to bet much on that proposition.”
