via FOX

Sen. Lindsey Graham criticized Mark Zuckerberg over Meta’s content moderation policies, particularly concerning children and teenagers, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Graham accused Zuckerberg of having “blood on [his] hands” and stated that the company’s product is “killing people.”

The hearing, titled “Big Tech and the Online Child Sexual Exploitation Crisis,” also featured CEOs from other tech companies.

“Mr. Zuckerberg, you and the companies before us, I know you don’t mean it to be so, but you have blood on your hands,” Graham said.

“You have a product that’s killing people,” he added.

“It is now time to repeal section 230,” Graham said.

“These issues are important every parent and every platform committed to continuing to work in these areas. And I hope we can make progress today,” Zuckerberg said.

Graham called for the repeal of Section 230, a federal law that allows online platforms to moderate content as they see fit.

Despite Zuckerberg pushing the importance of addressing these issues, but an audience member expressed skepticism.
