Biden’s Controversial Policy Reportedly Paroled 745K Foreign Nationals into U.S. in 2023

via 60 Minutes

In 2023, the Department of Homeland Security reported that over 745,000 foreign nationals were released into the United States through President Biden’s parole pipeline, surpassing the population of several major U.S. cities.

This parole pipeline, a part of the broader Catch and Release network, includes a migrant mobile app and humanitarian parole.

The data release coincides with the Congressional Budget Office estimating that approximately 6.2 million foreign nationals have entered the U.S. through Biden’s immigration policies since January 2021.

Biden has supported a Senate deal to expand immigration, aiming to continue the parole pipeline and expedite work permits for released foreign nationals, although this proposal faces opposition in the House.

House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly said the deal is “dead on arrival”.
