Ukraine Says U.S. Money Not Actually Going to Ukraine, ‘Benefiting American Interests’

via NBC News

The $130 billion sent to Ukraine for its war against Russia might not be reaching Ukraine, as claimed by a Ukrainian Embassy spokesperson.

Instead, the funds are allegedly benefiting American interests, with a significant portion utilized in the United States for weapon construction or replenishment.

Reports also reveal embezzlement and mismanagement of funds within Ukraine’s defense ministry.

Furthermore, concerns have been raised about the desecration of a Jewish cemetery in Uman, Ukraine, despite letters from U.S. Congress members and a bilateral agreement on preserving cultural heritage.

Ukraine’s low score on the Corruption Perceptions Index and the Biden administration’s push for additional aid are also notable.
