Nikki Haley Gets Disastrous News In First South Carolina Poll

via CNBC

Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign faces significant challenges as she trails behind former President Donald Trump in polls, especially in her home state of South Carolina.

Despite losses in Iowa and New Hampshire, she remains determined to continue, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming South Carolina primary.

Notably, however, her campaign has been overshadowed by Trump’s strong lead and Ron DeSantis’ withdrawal from the race.

“With Donald Trump, Republicans have lost almost every competitive election. We lost the Senate. We lost the House. We lost the White House. We lost in 2018. We lost in 2020. And we lost in 2022,” Haley said.

“The worst kept secret in politics is how badly the Democrats want to run against Donald Trump,” she added. “A Trump nomination is a Biden win and a Kamala Harris president.”

“Our fight is not over because we have a country to save,” Haley said.

“New Hampshire is first in the nation, it is not last in the nation. This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go. And the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”

The former ambassador’s persistence in the face of such obstacles had shed light on her commitment to the Republican primary, but the dominance of Trump in polls presents a formidable hurdle for her campaign.
