Trump Accuser E. Jean Carroll Lives In A House With Mice In the Middle of the Forest

via PBS News

Donald Trump is facing jury selection for a trial to determine additional damages he owes E. Jean Carroll after being found liable for sexual abuse and defamation.

Despite already being ordered to pay $5 million in damages, Trump continued to attack Carroll on social media, leading to restrictions from the presiding judge.

The trial will focus on determining additional damages owed to Carroll.

“Can you believe I have to defend myself against this woman’s fake story,” Trump wrote, claiming she is seeking “fame, fortune, and publicity for her ridiculous Book!”

Despite this legal battle, Trump’s popularity among Republican voters remains unaffected, as evidenced by his recent dominance in the Iowa caucus.

Even his GOP rivals have been reluctant to condemn his treatment of Carroll.

“If he’s found guilty he needs to pay the price,” Nikki Haley said.
