Kansas Proud Boys member William Chrestman has been sentenced to 55 months in federal prison for threatening a federal officer with an ax handle during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
He must also pay $2,000 in restitution for contributing to nearly $3 million in damages.
Chrestman, a member of the Proud Boys, participated in breaching barricades at the Capitol and unlawfully entered the building. (Trending: Bombshell UFO Footage Released To The Public)

He threatened officers with the ax handle and prevented the arrest of a rioter.
“We had the cops running” and they “were legitimately scared,” Chrestman was quoted as having said.
Chrestman’s actions were investigated by the FBI’s Washington D.C. and Kansas City field offices.
