Biden campaign co-chairman admits president’s economic agenda ‘hasn’t broken through’

via Forbes Breaking News

Sen. Chris Coons expressed concerns that President Biden’s economic message has not resonated with the public, as his approval rating on handling the economy declines.

Coons and other Democratic allies fear that key voting blocs, such as working class and black voters, may shift away from Biden.

Despite administration successes, including low unemployment and bipartisan infrastructure work, Biden’s economic policies have not fully connected with younger and working-class people. (Trending: Fox News Star Accused Of Major Scandal)

Coons emphasized the need for Biden to better communicate these achievements to appeal to his voting base.

Sen. Chris Coons said, “Demonstrably, poll after poll shows that the broadly great economic news and the significant accomplishments of the first few years of the Biden administration hasn’t really broken through.”

“We’re going to see more and more things like this, where average Americans are feeling it and seeing it,” he continued.
