A female pool final match in Denbighshire, Wales, ended prematurely after one player, Lynne Pinches, reportedly forfeited because she was drawn to compete against a transgender woman, Harriet Haynes.

Pinches and Haynes participated in a pre-game activity to determine which competitor would go first.

After it was decided that Pinches would go first, she approached the referee and informed the official of her decision not to participate in the match. (Trending: Photos Released Of Cocaine Found In White House)

Pinches stepped away from the table to applause from spectators, and Haynes was declared the winner.

One spectator can reportedly be heard cheering “Yes, Lynne!” in a viral video of the moment.

Haynes did participate in the photo session as the runner-up to the champion Haynes.

Haynes has been successful in various pool championships, and the incident has sparked attention and discussion.
