U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has (Poll: Do You Stand Donald Trump? VOTE)“>paused her gag order formerly placed on Donald Trump, which prohibited the former president from verbally “publicly targeting” special counsel Jack Smith, along with Chutkan and her staff.
Trump’s team (Poll: Do You Stand Donald Trump? VOTE)“>filed an appeal to the order, calling it an “abomination.”
“Today’s decision is an absolute abomination and another partisan knife stuck in the heart of our Democracy by Crooked Joe Biden, who was granted the right to muzzle his political opponent, the leading candidate for the Presidency in 2024, and the most popular political leader in America, President Donald J. “President Trump will continue to fight for our Constitution, the American people’s right to support him, and to keep our country free of the chains of weaponized and targeted law enforcement.”
Following Trump’s appeal, Chutkan has temporarily paused the order.
In the meantime, former President Donald Trump continues to widened his lead over President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup.
Trump is beating Biden 46% to 41%, with 14% being undecided, which is up from 44% to 40% in September, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris survey. (Poll: Who Should Win the Presidency In 2024? VOTE)
In a three-way race with Kennedy garnering 19% of the share, Trump held 39% support compared to Biden’s 33%, with 9% remaining undecided.
Trump’s margin increases by 2 points against Biden in a four-way matchup with Kennedy and Cornel West, who garnered 3% support, according to the poll.
Trump is leading the field among independent voters at 39%, 31% and 31% respectively.
