The backlash against Bud Light continues to create opportunities for competitors to succeed.
Bud Light notoriously used its marketing power and dollars to promote left-wing political propaganda with its beer cans.

Modelo has become the top beer brand in America and unseated Bud Light for the throne in 2023 following the Anheuser-Busch brand’s decision to partner with Dylan Mulvaney.

Constellation Brands, the maker of Modelo beer, continues to reap the benefits of the public relations nightmare.
“Our beer business this year delivered double-digit net sales and operating income growth,” Constellation Brands CEO Bill Newlands said.
“Modelo Especial continued to outperform the market as the top share gainer and solidified its position as the number one beer in U.S. tracked channels.”
The company expects to earn as much as $12.20 per share this year in profits.

Modelo remains in the top spot.
Bud Light’sparent, Anheuser-Busch InBev, has seen its market cap drop from $134.55 billion in late March to $91 billion.
Shares are down 11% year-to-date.
