Failed NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is thinking about a possible return to the National Football League.

The New York Jets recently lost Aaron Rodgers who tore his Achilles on the first night of the Season.

Kaepernick’s agent has confirmed that he’s in contact with the Jets. Kaepernick hasn’t played since 2016 when he began his promotion of controversial left-wing social protest during the national anthem. (Trending: Megyn Kelly Reveals Medical Diagnosis After Getting Jab)

Since then, numerous teams have declined to give him a spot on the roster.

“I just spoke with Colin Kaepernick, who tells me his agent has reached out to the Jets about his desire to make an NFL return,” NFL reporter Jordan Schultz said. “Kaepernick remains on the West Coast working out.”

Kaepernick claims he’s ready to play. Critics say that it’s very unlikely that 35-year-old Kaepernick is physically prepared to be a quarterback in the NFL, even as a backup. (Trending: TV Host Blows Trump Case Wide Open)

CBS Sports NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that the Jets are not considering Kaepernick. It appears the team will not be offering a tryout.
