Tucker Carlson, who is the highest-rate cable news host in U.S. history, launched a new show on X (formerly Twitter).
Carlson’s recent episode is causing quite a stir due to an interview with Steven Sund, who was chief of the Capitol Police at the time of the January 6th riot in 2021.

Sund makes a number of alarming claims following the Capitol riot when then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanded that he step down. He says that “officials were aware of the January 6 U.S. Capitol insurrection before it happened and covered it up.” (Poll: Will You Vote For Trump or Biden? VOTE)
Sund says that he was “pissed off” about what happened and claimed that he wasn’t allowed to do his job.
The crowd on January 6th was “filled with agents,” Sund explained. The FBI is accused of having numerous informants working with groups involved in the Capitol riot. The FBI has denied having any informants or undercover agents involved in January 6th. Fact-checkers have repeatedly claimed there is no evidence that the FBI was involved in the January 6th riot.

“On Sunday and Monday, [military leaders] had been discussing locking down the city… because of the concern for violence. You know who issues the permits on Capitol Hill for demonstrations? I do,” Sund said.
“You know, who wasn’t told? Me. Instead, on January 4th, what does Miller do? He puts out a memo restricting the National Guard from carrying the various weapons, any weapons, any civil disobedience equipment that would be utilized for the very demonstrations or violence that he sees coming. It just doesn’t make any sense.”

“The other federal agencies withheld critical information from you in charge of security at the Capitol before January 6.
