18-year-old professional soccer player Linda Caicedo of Colombia suffered a health scare during World Cup practice.

As she was jogging around the field, Caicedo clutched her chest and collapsed on the field.

Medical staff immediately responded to the troubling situation.

A medical spokesperson told Fox News that Caicedo collapsed because she was “very tired.”

“Linda is very tired,” a medical spokesperson for the team said. “What happened was just a symptom of all the stress and physical demands.”

“She is well and all is back to normal,” the spokesperson added.

The team’s trainer, Andrés Gómez, reportedly evaluated Caicedo and was cleared to resume participation.

“The striker was later spotted training with her teammates,” the report said.

Caicedo has played a critical role in the team’s success. She scored an important goal in Colombia’s 2-0 victory over South Korea.

At age 15, Caicedo was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent surgery and six months of chemotherapy.
