Princess Charlotte, 7, Breaks Down Crying at Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral

Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the funeral service for their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth III. Four-year old Prince Louis did not attend.

As they entered Westminster Abbey, many of the royals became teary eyed. Princess Charolette was comforted by her mother the Princess of Wales.

Prince George was seen receiving a comforting look from great-aunt Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Prince George and Princess Charolette proceeded in the abbey behind their parents.

Princess Charolette wore a diamond horseshoe broach in honor of the Queen. It is said that Charolette shared her love of horses with the Queen.

During a royal walkabout last week, the former Duchess of Cambridge shared that George had a better understanding of his great-grandmother’s passing.

George, Charlotte and Louis were brought to many events celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, delighting royal fans.

And it appeared that the little girl is a stickler for royal protocol.

Charlotte was spotted correcting both her brothers’ deportment during the Trooping the Colour procession.

And when the siblings watched the Platinum Jubilee Pageant parade from the palace balcony, Charlotte spied her older brother’s hand resting on the ledge.

She immediately nudged George to correct his posture, which he dutifully did.

George and Charlotte also joined their parents on a visit to Cardiff, Wales, as part of the Jubilee celebrations.
