President Donald Trump said during a Fox & Friends phone interview on Monday morning that the media remain his biggest opponent in the 2020 election, not former Vice President Joe Biden, according to Breitbart News.
“My biggest opponent isn’t Biden. It’s not the Democrats. It’s the corrupt media,” Trump said.
“We have a corrupt media in this country,” Trump added.
“I keep saying to my people here I am getting bombs thrown at me every day by people that are totally, frankly, dishonest reporters… They’re espousing the views of the radical left,” the president said.
Trump argued that biased reporters “make our people angrier.”
“I have these people, there’s fire out of their eyes coming. They’re asking me questions, and I see the fire is burning in their eyes, and I’m looking at some of them. I said, ‘Boy, how can you have so much hatred?’” he said.
Chicks On The Right commented on the issue:
How fantastic would it be if Fox News moderated the debates between Trump and Biden? It would make my popcorn taste ultimately better.
President Trump hit the nail on the head with encompassing the very issue of this election process. How the people are swayed to vote is assuredly something to be concerned about, especially with the tech industry.
Even though I’m very confident that Trump supporters are the silent majority, and the loudest, most shrill folks in the opposition are simply publicized more, the manipulation and control that occurs through the media is nonetheless alarming.
Not only does the media hide the actual facts, they are drowning in emotionally driven BS that is consistently masked in virtue-signaling.
After all, the fact that Biden never leaves his basement and can rarely hold a conversation in an actually coherent manner, it’s no wonder that Biden doesn’t take any of the heat; Biden avoids it all together.
That’s not what I’d want from my president. I prefer a president who fights through the fire, not one who just simply hides from it.
I mean, let’s be honest and admit that even if Biden did take more questions to address the metaphorical ‘heat,’ would we even really get an answer?
