In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Democrat New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy says that he is “grateful” for the help that has come from the administration of President Donald Trump.

“We have a very good relationship,” Murphy said in reference to President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Murphy added that communication has been very good.

“Our ‘asks’ remain significant,” Murphy continued. “We have a fraction of the personal protective equipment that we need.”

“We are trying on our own to find that, but we need our federal partners to be with us in that regard.”

Murphy says that they are working very well with FEMA and the Army core of engineers in building four field hospitals.

“This was a decision that the President himself took, and I’m grateful for it,” Murphy concluded.
