An iman from Dearborn, Michigan called the deadly U.S. drone strike that was ordered by President Trump and targeted Iranian terrorist General Qassem Soleimani a “cowardly and heinous act.”

Sheikh Ibrahim Kazerooni praised Soleimani in a sermon and said that “his presence brought hope to the marginalized and to those who were afraid, and it brought hatred and fear to the enemies of Islam – particularly the United States.”

Kazerooni, of the Islamic Center of America, continued with a prayer for Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who is an Iraqi leader, was also killed in the strike.

From Jewish News Syndicate:

…The only countries celebrating his death were the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Soleimani, he said, had been instrumental in keeping the Syrian regime in power, despite “American and Zionist” attempts to destabilize it.

He added that the slain general also was working to defend Iraq against Islamic State alongside the Popular Mobilization Forces, and in ultimately defeating ISIS in Iraq, which Kazerooni described as the “extended arm of American foreign policy.”
